Description

Northland Blueberry is referred to as a half-high. The general form is a moderately spreading 4 ft bush, at maturity. midseason, crops begin typically by the first week of August and produce the entire month. Bush is vigorous, spreading, medium height, extremely productive. Fruit is about medium is size , firm, and with only a small picking scar . Grows on long and loose clusters. It is more flavourful than the typical high bush blueberry fruit, having some of the flavour characteristics of the wild low bush species. One of the heaviest producing varieties grown, with higher yields nearing 20 pounds per bush at maturity. Very Hardy.
